Male Thread ripped my belly button piercing like you wouldn't believe. Infected with who knows what now. Jewelry sterilized before wearing, removed after 1 day, my skin reacted so badly. Was going to return it but wasn't worth the shipping back to Amazon who just returned my purchase. Avoid this brand. I suggest Gagabody G23 jewelry; this saved my nipple piercing.

It's absolutely perfect! Much better than regular surgical steel rings, especially if you have very sensitive skin to certain metals. I had a regular 316L surgical steel ring for the 1st month and everything went great. At week 5 he began to feel anxious and irritable. It wasn't an infection or anything, it was just that my body didn't like that bar anymore and it definitely let me know. When I switched to Titanium, I immediately felt a lot better.

I am allergic to almost all piercing metals including surgical steel. I bought this ring because it was titanium implant and I wanted to open my belly button piercing. I had no reaction to the jewelry, but the stripe was slightly shorter than jewelry I've worn in the past. Overall this is a very nice ring and I'm happy with it, but I think in the future I'll just go to Tribal Rites where I used to buy belly button rings.

Update: These rings continue to not sting and have never caused a skin reaction, but the stones fall out after a while. It might be a good idea to pop them out ahead of time and try supergluing them as they are great in every other way. This has happened to me now with two rings from this company.
