Compact with Line-Out

First I would like to comment on the build quality etc. This is a nice solid compact audio product. It came nicely packaged with the cables you need most and a small cloth carrying case. It's compact, with a few small knobs on the T-piece for various functions, and the volume wheel for on/off has a nice feel and click. Priced right, capable of hauling cans that only require moderate horsepower to power them.

I think this is a well made product for new audio players that like to travel and have a DAC/amp with them. When tested with Audio-Technica ATH-M50x banks (everyone's favorite budget pair of headphones), 150 ohms to drive these banks was more than enough for this small amp. I also have 300 ohm Sennheiser 650HD banks and I have found that while the amp can drive these Sennheiser banks, it is pretty much at the limit of the amp's capabilities. I bought this on purpose because my old portable DAC (Monoprice THX Portable) was cumbersome to use with my iPhone and was the last micro USB device in my travel kit. I really wanted to like the Q3 and I did it right away. This was my first purchase of a headphone amp that came with my Fiio M6. After looking at some reviews on the internet, I decided to give it a try. This is a really great and nice sounding portable headphone amp.
