🔌 Fiji Cube 800 GPH Low Profile External Overflow Box Review

Very impressed with the quality of this product. The fit and finish are amazing. Supplied with high quality baffles and fittings. The fold-out weir chamber is very secure and yet easy to remove and clean.

Couldn't stop the leak so due to the thin threads it came loose when I tightened the main baffle. It's also very noisy unless you turn the flow down, which also drastically reduces the 400gph rating.

It was easy to install and drill through my 120 gallon tank with the included drill bit. If you have a rimmed cistern, don't forget to buy some extra spacers for the space between the cistern and the overflow tank. I set mine up as a bean animal and it's almost completely silent.

Solid construction, good packaging, great product. I used the hole saw that came with it and it worked with no problems. I will say that when working with this type of hole saw it is important to be careful not to warp/wobble in the drill bit. The template was easy to use and everything fitted very well.

I think Fijicube doesn't get enough credit for what they contribute to the reef hobby. This is another great product, really enjoy the slim profile overflow design. Everything is there for drilling. They offer a quality drill with packaging that made the drilling process easy. I will continue to work with this company.

the overflow box works fine but I can't say anything good about the service of fijicubes. Although it still works, the skimmer was damaged when I received it. I didn't want to return the whole product so I just contacted Fijicube for a replacement skimmer. They demanded a photo, first blaming the shipping company and then almost directly blaming me for breaking it and trying to scam them when it was clearly machined. If they endorsed their product they would get 5 stars.

I have had very good experiences with other products I have purchased in Fiji. Now the disappointing thing is that when I remove the protective gulf from the inner box I see a huge tear. Luckily, this part goes in the tank, but that's a concern given the price of the item. I bought this for 60 gallons I install. The plan was to do it within three days off. So after drilling, flushing and wet testing I found that the overflow box was leaking at the rear seam. I contacted the manufacturer and received an email asking for an order number. After sending the number I heard nothing for 6 days. So I have a half full tank and am waiting for an answer.
