Description of 🌬️ Filtrete Allergen Delivery Assurance

OUTPERFORMS FIBERGLASS, WASHABLE AND NON-ELECTROSTATIC 3-month pleated 1 in. home air filters for your furnace, air conditioner or HVAC system. DESIGNED WITH EXCLUSIVE Filtrete Brand 3-in-1 technology from 3M to trap unwanted air particles while letting cleaner air flow through. ATTRACTS AND CAPTURES particles such as lint, pollen, dust, pet dander, smoke and smog. 1000 MPR has a rating of MERV 11. The higher the MPR, the more microparticles--such as pollen, pet dander, smoke, bacteria and viruses--your filter will capture from the air passing through it. FIND YOUR SIZE: 1000 MPR available in 4in. , 4in. slim fit and 5in. thick air filters. FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE of your heating & cooling system or HVAC system, change your home air filter at least every 90 days for 1 in. filters, and at least every 12 months for 4 in. and 5 in. filters. A dirty filter will slow down air flow and make the system work harder to keep you warm or cool--wasting energy. Sign-up for a filter change reminder program that works for you!. FOR RESIDENTIAL use only. CREATE A CHANGE COUNTDOWN in the Filtrete Smart app. Simply use the app to scan the barcode on your filter’s packaging, then choose 30, 60 or 90 days for your replacement countdown. When the lifespan is up, you’ll get a notification to change your filter.

Good quality for HVAC

I have been using these filters for 3 years and buy them in bulk from Amazon. I change the filter every three months as recommended and it catches a lot of dust, dirt etc (they turn white and come out grey). I would not recommend leaving this filter on for more than 3 months as it is only 1 inch thick and will no longer trap dust or allergens. I have the ability to fit a 4" filter in my return line, but found a few years ago that it slowed the flow of air into my ducts significantly. Since…

Okay, there's still some dust in the air

They'll let some dust particles through and fill the air when the stove or air conditioner is on, but hey, they're not described as effective for everything, no matter the size . They do their job very well, but if you want dust-free, ultra-clean air, you need a more stringent (and more expensive) filter. In the winter they last about a month (it says "up to 90 days"), but that's to be expected since I have an inefficient stove that works a lot and a large house with very high ceilings. One…

Keeps the air conditioner clean

For years I used cheap blue fiberglass filters. Only my air conditioning is forced and I try not to use it that often. However, a few years ago I went to the attic to inspect the air handling unit and found that it was a bit dusty. I vacuumed it, cleaned the air duct, and then sprayed it with an air duct cleaner I found at a large store. I've been using Filtrete paper filters ever since. They do their job so well that I will be running a non-AC fan to circulate and clean the air. The filters do
