Description of Filtrol Lint Filter: Advanced Washing Machine Filter for Septic Systems, Targets Microfibers Effectively

The Filtrol is a patented,re-useable, microfiber filter that connects to your washing machines discharge hose. Use of the Filtrol can prevent premature septic system/drainfield failure, clogging of drain pipes and microfiber pollution in our natural water ways. Each Filtrol unit comes complete with lid, canister w/o-ring, wall bracket w/ lid clips, 1 filter bag (within the canister), 5 feet of 1" in diameter hose, 2 hose clamps, a 3/4" and 1" elbow fitting and a 1" straight fitting. The Filtrol comes with 1” and 3/4" elbow fittings (use one) , which will connect to most washing machines drain hose. Measure the inside of your washing machines discharge hose, if it measures over 1" IOD, please contact Filtrol.net as we have options to swap one of the provided fittings for a 1 1/4" fitting. The Filtrol washing machine microfiber filter removes non-biodegradable fibers like polyester and nylon, hair, pet fur, sand, dirt particles and metal shavings, from your washing machines discharge before it is released to your septic system or public sewage system. The Filtrol measures approximately 15” tall, from the top fitting to the bottom of the canister, 9" wide and projects about 8" from the wall. You will not want to install the Filtrol 160 under a low hanging cabinet, as the lid needs to be removed for filter cleaning. You will need to have a minimum of 24” to be able to remove the canister from the wall mounted bracket, and still have proper drainage. Discharge hose can be routed to a standpipe, wallbox or laundry tub. *IMPORTANT NOTICE: WEXCO/FILTROL WILL NOT accept any returns, even exchanges or honor the terms of a warranty/guarantee if the Filtrol has been purchased from Amazon. All returns and or even exchanges for any reason must go directly through Amazon customer service.

Keeps Laundry Clean and Lint-Free

This lint filter bag is a game-changer! As a result of using this product, I found that my laundry is cleaner and lint-free. It's the perfect solution for those who experience lint build-up in their washing machines. The bag is easy to install and captures all the lint before it can clog drains or damage appliances. The pros are that it keeps my washing machine clean, easy to use, affordable, and environmentally friendly. The only con is that it needs to be replaced every few months. Overall, I

Works great with lint remover

Just did my first wash with Filtrol. It was easy to install. However, I had to buy a new drain hose for the washing machine. When considering how to install this I realized the existing hose was too short so I figured I'd just buy an extension hose. But when I pulled the washing machine out of the wall, I found that when it came out of the washing machine, the hose was really pinched. I'm surprised he even got out. So instead of lengthening the hose, I bought a new, longer one. The drain pipe…

More time consuming and messy than I thought.

I have an old house where the laundry is in the basement. I do my best to keep lint and other particles out of the drain as they are very difficult to clean. I still clean my washing machine every year or two, but it's slowly draining. I used to run the hose through the sink along with the stocking to get the trash out of the laundry. We are a family of 3 and do not use excessive laundry. We have a new front loader that uses a lot less water than before. We use a well-known detergent from the…
