Super thin and light

This towel is very thin and light. I bought it to use as a regular bath towel, but it's also good for camping or traveling. This is not a cotton bath towel, so don't expect it either. If you want to wrap yourself in a nice warm towel, this isn't it! However, if you just want to dry quickly, this will work. It's not super soft. It dries very quickly and you can tell if it is completely dry by a discoloration. and much cheaper than the microfiber towels sold for hiking. Size: 29" x 56" and folds…

Fantastic bath and hair towels!

I was replacing all my old thick cotton towels and was looking for lightweight towels that wouldn't take up much storage space but most importantly towels that would not tangle or fade with use and had good features. Absorbency. I came across these towels while searching reviews, but skipped them a couple of times, thinking they were a bit pricey (I've never spent more than $10 on bath towels) and mostly because they don't run out natural fibers were made. . But in the end I took a chance and…

They absorb moisture very well for their size

I like big towels but a big towel can be huge if it's made of good quality cotton. It's a balance of absorbent, large but doesn't take up much space. I've used it after showers and for hot yoga, although it's not as long as a yoga mat. However, I have been very happy with how it has worked for me and it takes up a lot less room in my gym bag than the towels I have used before. It's not as soft as your regular pretty cotton towel, but the space saving more than makes up for it. We now have…

Great Hair Towels

LOVE THESE! Benefits* Durability. Bought a pair a year and a half ago. They're a little lighter (normal shedding in washing/drying) but no less functional. I only realized this after buying new ones and being able to compare them side to side.* Dries quickly. I love that I don't have to restart my dryer because of a wet terry towel.* Stays fresher for longer. They don't get as musty as a terry towel. I can use them for more than 2 weeks. Even when I moved and shared a towel with a partner, it…

Buy this towel! in hair care

I like this towel. You may have read about microfiber towels being "scratchy" or not absorbing moisture, but these reports aren't true: The towel feels soft and silky unless you have dry, rough, or cracked skin on your fingers. If so, the towels will cling to that skin and - indeed - look odd. In terms of absorbency, the wetter they get, the more water they absorb - just like suede. You will literally suck water right out of your skin and hair. If you enjoy snuggling up against a big fluffy…

Annoying to use as a towel

Imagine you are using a towel: you take the towel by the two outer corners, wrap it around your back and pull it across your back from right to left, around to dry it. You know what it's like (I'm guessing it's cotton or cotton terry). When you do this with this towel, does it stick or grind or something. It doesn't slip on your skin like a regular towel. It stops and starts, its use is annoying. I use it as a gym towel and every time I use it it just gets so annoying and I thought for a long…

Like Beauty & Personal Care

Of the 4 microfiber towels I've tried, my favorite is the Aurorae towels, followed by Fina Waffle Weave, then Ecodept and finally Packtowl. For at home or in the car I would choose the Aurorae Beach Towel or the Fina Waffle Weave Towel. For mountaineering or other trips where size and weight are undesirable I would go to the Ecodept. Aurorae is the largest of the four, with a low terry hold and dries well and comfortably for a microfiber towel (but still doesn't feel like cotton terry). Fina…

I will recommend these towels to anyone who will listen!

These towels have a flimsy feel which bothered me at first but I love these microfiber towels. Weave and material are very soft and the thickness of the material allows moisture to dry quickly. The stitching is of good quality and after a couple of washes they didn't start to fall apart and didn't leave strings on me when drying. I like using them because when you pat dry instead of wiping away the moisture (like you do with a cotton towel) my skin stays dry but doesn't absorb the moisture in…
