My 3 year old daughter loves this toy! As cute as all the eggs fit in the mother hen. She happily takes them all out, separates them, puts them back together and back into the mother hen. It's great for developing fine motor skills! Excellent quality toys.

Gave this chicken to my granddaughter for her birthday. She loved it, but after less than 15 minutes of play, one of the eggs broke! Very disappointed! I need to update my rating. Toypix gets 5 stars for excellent customer service. They refunded my money! They offered to replace the chicken for free which I declined. Rate the offer though!

You can also work with colors and shapes. I used this in my k3 class as a private lesson. After about a month of use, one of the eggs fell out of the liner. A simple solution. I super glued it on but for the price I was hoping it would hold up better. But it's fun and the kids love it.

Ideal for small children. I am a preschool teacher and I use chickens during our circle time and toddlers love this toy. We sing a song about a farm and the songs "los pollitos dicen". , colors, counting as well as shape recognition, hand-eye coordination and they improved their cognitive abilities. They look sturdy and the eggs are the perfect size for little hands. I will order a few more to have enough for the centers.

My 3 year old daughter loves this product very much. three times on the side of the bottom of the chicken which is the bowl and dividing them into the chicken bowl she loves it and i love seeing her in it and it really works with her hard motor skills and fitting the shapes together.

I have a 16 month old who is tired of his shape sorter. I found this toy and thought it would be nice for him to focus and think. I was right. When he first played with him, the game was to "pick up the eggs" while I threw them out and he put them back in. Now he's experimenting with color matching and piece assembly. I will also note that I like the packaging of the chicken. It looks very cute sitting on my son's shelf next to his toy cow and toy pig.
