This concealer liquid is the best I have ever used.

This masking fluid is the best I've ever used! Makes nice thin lines. Can fill in gaps (although for really big rooms I just sweep across the image leaving the center unmasked). Very easy to use. No lumps yet - used multiple times! Can be painted over with masking liquid after drying. Easy to remove (even after a few days). I included detailed close-ups of the watercolor before (masked areas appear slightly bluish) and after (mask removed and white paper underneath!). Full screen 9x12 inches…

Great product

Ok I really like this product. First, no brushes or painting tools, hence a thin line without blemish. Sometimes you need to hide tiny areas/areas. That just makes it good. It takes a steady hand and some practice to create an accurate, thin, long line, and it's not the product's fault. I'm on my fourth bottle and so far no problems. The thin tube may be a little clogged, but insert the needle and move it a little and the liquid will start flowing again. Make sure you only unscrew the blue cap…

This is a very fine needle/applicator!

Bought this masking liquid for masking branches on trees, pollen leaves etc, works very well. However, please note that this is a very thin needle. If you're having trouble threading your sewing needle, you may have trouble putting the wire (cap) back into the stem (bottle). A standard size safety pin is about twice as wide as a capped wire, just for comparison. It's perfect for creating the very fine lines you may need in your watercolors, but be warned how small, let alone thin, this needle…

What happened to the caps?

I have been buying these for many years and have always been completely satisfied. That's why I've been buying them for years! I do very detailed watercolor illustrations and the excellent fine point allows me to draw very fine details with the masking liquid. I bought 3 of these at the end of January and all the caps broke. The very thin needle in the cap is broken, and the cover liquid may be out of date, but it thickens and dries in the thin application tube, and without the needles to clean

Pros
  • Paper and paper crafts
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
