Description of High-Quality Off White Slotted Length Threads for a Perfect Finish

Set Screws keep parts from turning relative to a shaft. Nylon 6/6 is suitable where non-conductivity, corrosion resistance, and cost are important considerations. Do not have an external head. Driven by a flat-bladed driver. Coarse threads are better for brittle materials, and will assemble and disassemble more quickly than fine threads.

Excellent Quality Slotted Threads for DIY Projects

According to my experience, these slotted threads are perfect for my DIY furniture projects. The length is ideal and the finish gives a polished look to my creations. The industrial and scientific grade ensures durability and reliability. However, the packaging could be improved to prevent damage during shipping.

Pros
  • Strong and durable threads
Cons
  • May not suit all color schemes

It's good that someone is making nylon set screws.

I love that I can use these nylon set screws to take up play in my angle bar on my cheap angle fence for my table saw and the nylon will not wear out my angle slot on my table saw.

Pros
  • Set Screws
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

The screwdriver slot is much shorter/smaller than expected.

Unlike the picture, the slot for the screwdriver is a small recess. At first I couldn't see them and wanted to send them back as defective. The slot is so small that a jeweler's screwdriver is required. That's why I put an asterisk. I have a size of 8/32 x 1 inch. I can't tell you anything about other sizes. I've found that I can easily make full size slots with a small hacksaw, or I can just use a jeweler's screwdriver so I keep them.

  • Fixings
