Bought this side window film for my enclosed back porch. I thought it would be very hard to take, but it's not. It took a long time but my windows are perfect! The film filters out the sun, keeps others from looking in and I can see enough if anyone gets close. I bought a film, mounting kit and recommended thinner. Be sure to clean your windows thoroughly. I measured the windows 3 times before cutting the film. Take your time.

I like the pattern but wouldn't recommend it unless you don't mind bubbles under the film. I followed the instructions exactly and squeezed out any bubbles under the foil. This film is difficult to apply because the pattern on the film is raised, but I persevered and was pleased with the results. This product is extremely easy to install. It took a little over 90 minutes for our windows. Looks great. Gives our room a whole new look and much needed privacy. Neutral color and pattern suit almost any interior. However, you will notice that this pattern actually looks like many crosses, allowing you to follow the Christian theme. I used this etched glass effect film on an oval window (that really needed a privacy treatment). After clumsily cutting the film into the correct shape, I followed the installation instructions and found that there was of course no easy pull tab on my oval neckline. Lesson: To peel off the backing without the tab, stick regular tape on both sides in the same place in a V-shape so the sticky sides aren't touching, then pull on both at the same time.
