I ordered it in rose gold. The color corresponds to the photo on the internet. Like dark pink. It's not too girly, but it's subtle enough for us middle-aged women. Has a shine on the front. The back is just a clear plastic cover. The front cover can be flipped up and used as a vertical stand for the iPad. Great case for the price. Doesn't feel cheap. Very happy with the purchase.

Replacement for the old cover originally purchased with the iPad (old model - latest/best at the time) for protection. Although this case is lightweight, it feels more fragile than durable. It is very beautiful and serves as a protection against dust. I would have preferred a "flap closure" like my original case/cover which was also softer.
