🔥 Firestone 9284 Air Compressor Ascent Review

replacement for my old compressor that has given up the ghost. Works great, a bit noisy, but so does my exhaust, so don't worry. Installation was easy, pressure builds up quickly.

This unit arrived broken and parts are missing. Due to timing issues I had no choice but to fix and install it. Revain usually has great service but not this time.

I thought the compressor was bigger! The one I had was much bigger! Just take a look? It's for the airbags on the pickup truck! Only complaint is the 1/4" plastic air line that should have been included was not in the package! taking a lot of effort but not worth the effort! Installed 3/2/20, will update in a month if I figure out how this works!

This compact 12 volt supercharger is the fastest motor available for FRC (1.1 cfm). Plus, it's a lightweight supercharger that costs less than $100. It has a 50% faster fill rate and 66% better duty cycle than the low powered compressor included in the FIRST Beginner Parts Kit. There are 12-volt compressors with even better duty cycles, but they're also larger, weigh significantly more, and use more electricity. So I highly recommend this if you are interested in FRC robotics.
