The bags lasted 1 month. A hole has been punctured and there is still no replacement. He says to call the manufacturer. I call BS.

This is an OEM. It just looks difficult to install but you will be surprised. All you have to do is lift and remove a few screws. It only took the mechanic 1 hour to do the replacement, including removing the tires, replacing the part and putting the tires back on.

My Firestone air springs were in use when I bought them over 10 years ago. When they finally wore out and wouldn't hold the air, I bought a new pair, the 6781 bags, which were needed for my 2006 Silverado 2500HD. I just reinstalled them and am ready to tow again.

FIRST TIME PURCHASED 2007. JUST CHANGED BAGS IN 12 YEARS! AND IT WAS ONLY A PRECAUTION. I HAVE ABOUT 3500 POUNDS IN THE LOAD Heck. THE TRUCK IS STANDING RIGHT, YOU NEVER KNOW THE WEIGHT IN IT. THEY SUPPORT LB5000 BAGS, MAX. 100 PSI, I USE 45 PSI FOR PERFECT LEVELING. I DO NOT RECOGNIZE TRUCKS OVERLOADING BUT IF YOU NEED A WELDING DRIVE, AIR COMPRESSOR, HEAVY TOOLS IN GENERAL, BAGS FOR INCREASED SECURITY AND MANAGEMENT.

Great bags. I had to replace my originals after making a mistake. I mounted bigger tires and reamed the hole in the bag. I tried several smaller bags which gave me more space. They were all insignificant compared to these. I ended up modifying the mounts and reinstalling some of them. They have a higher weight rating and gap rating than most. They help a lot with large loads, heavy trailers, towing heavy loads, they help a lot with leveling and sideways swaying.
