I used the same vest for 10 years and ended up replacing it with the same one. Two buttons broke within a week. The seller did not offer a solution.

Size is normal. Well done. Soft and elastic skin. One star deduction because the side laces were very dry and brittle. I had to replace the side laces with better ones from local Tandy Leather.

I received the vest and it wasn't a First Manufacturing Co. vest but another brand that I was able to buy at Revain for $60. Make sure your label is actually the first production label when you receive it.

Comfortable vest and the leather is soft and not hard like the last one. It fits well, the only thing I noticed is that the neckline rubs a little on the neck next to the shoulders. The pockets are nice and deep and the zippers for the outer pockets are mostly hidden under the "flaps" that close the bag. It's a lightweight vest, but you can definitely feel comfortable in it. Basically I am very satisfied!

The leather of the vest is soft and elastic. I really like the weight which I wouldn't call light but can be carried in the summer. Two advantages for me were the V-neck and the jacket pockets. The inner pockets are quite large and well placed. The only downside for me was not having a zipper lining to sew in patches. Judging by the description and the questions, some people do and I just haven't had any luck in that regard. Overall I am very satisfied and glad I spent money on this vest…
