Good value compared to the replacement Dyson swivel brush

My Dyson brush died and the price for a new one was close to $100; I chose this one and found it to be a good alternative. The brush seems a bit shorter than the Dyson, but it's less picky and doesn't require as much brushing as the Dyson. That means dog hair doesn't curl or condense as much in the body and around the brush as it does on the Dyson.

Great price for vacuum and floor care

Bought this over a year ago and it has been working great until recently. I agree with other reviews, the head is a bit smaller, but that's not critical. What I'm saying is that accessing this aftermarket product is 1000 times easier when it comes time to clean the brush inside the unit. You don't have to search for a coin to open it, and you don't have to fiddle with multiple pieces. You can just slide it, pull out the rod, clean and wipe the inside. So $26 is totally worth it even if it only…

It's not worth it.: Nozzles and brushes

Didn't even live 6 months. as effective as the brand name, but that's not the case. After he died, I bought a Dyson Motörhead. See comparison side by side. The Dyson nozzle rolls smoother on carpet and can be used on hardwood floors. Whereas the First4Spares nozzle scratched my floors and I had to buy a Dyson parquet nozzle. In short, a product that should save me a few bucks will cost me about 7-8x that in the long run. This is a dice game. . feel happy?

When it works, though, it's good value for money.

This aftermarket Motörhead head is narrower than I would like but I won't blame it. What I will blame it for is that it turns itself off after a few seconds of spinning. Just to be safe I replaced both the mini motor head my v6 came with and the furry motor head. Nobody had problems with the continuous work. If the suction worked normally. But I just can't go on like this. I will probably return it. Updated 06/16/2019. It looks like the shutdown problem only occurs in normal mode, if I switch…

I use this on my aftermarket upgraded DC58 and it works great. You just have to live up to your expectations without any reason. I have an Australian Shepherd so the coat situation here is always level 11. The downside here would be a) it's not very wide but that could also be a plus as it can get into places my upright Dyson can't b) I usually need to remove the hair trimming brush after every 4 uses and slide the wheels out after every 10 uses. All in all, it's great to breathe new life into…

I love this brush - Attachments and brushes

I love this brush. I have 3 cats, 2 shorthair and 1 longhair, and it suits me well. I've had this brush for about 3 months now. I think I only brushed my hair once or twice. I usually use scissors to trim the brush length for easier hair removal. I had no hair anywhere on the brush as stated by other reviews and my daughter's hair is long to her waist. On hardwood it works even better than the original. I think because it's smaller the suction works better. It doesn't push sand out of the…

Don't buy if you have hair!

My original Dyson head was worn out. The beater shaft was missing parts, the felt strips kept coming loose and the end cap was torn. Since there was so much to fix I figured it would be cheaper to replace the whole thing but the original was very expensive. I found this and thought I'd give it a try. When I took it out of the box I was disappointed that it wasn't as wide as the original and thought it would take more effort on my part to vacuum the floors. I put it on - it fit perfectly and…
