Not worth the money

After trying this product in the Industrial and Scientific category, I have to say I was very disappointed. The measurements were not accurate at all and I had to constantly double-check. The only positive thing I can say is that it is compact and easy to carry around. Overall, I would not recommend this product as there are better options out there for dimensional measurement in the Measure & Inspect category.

Pros
  • Durable construction ensures longevity and accuracy.
Cons
  • Less suitable for measuring longer distances beyond 25 feet.

very nice and smooth running

very nice and smooth running, it seems to me that when the strap is pulled back there is some dampening of the spring, sort of a shock absorber. very good

Pros
  • tools and housewares
Cons
  • only available in white

Would have been my new favorite but broke in less than a week.

It was an amazing tape measure. The whole week. I liked this new band. It was smooth, the blade clearly marked with a slight ridge to keep it from hitting the point, and it felt good in the hand. Unfortunately, the first time I pulled it out about 22 feet, the spring clicked and didn't retract the blade. Shortly after, trying to remove the blade, I heard a lot of clicks and didn't bounce back. Of course, instead of sending it back, I took it apart and found that the leaf spring was broken. Such

Pros
  • Tape measure
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks
