FISH NAP Scratching Platform Furniture Cats ~ Beds & Furniture Review

This is a great scratching post, but if you have a larger-than-average cat, skip this post. My cat weighs 14 pounds and is larger than most house cats. She immediately went to the hammock, but under her weight the tree began to fall. it fell out of the sides and I had to use my hand as a counterweight just to get it to stop for a minute.

The tree was smaller than the photos on the web, most platforms are no larger than our 6 month old kitten. I'm assuming she'll be too big to use when she grows up. It was well made and easy to connect. The instructions were just a page of diagrams. It took some time to determine that there were three pillars running inside the "house" as the drawing in that area was faint and difficult to read.

This is a very poorly designed and manufactured product. This is definitely NOT suitable for cats, except maybe very small young kittens! The base is too small so the tree will sway and topple over as soon as the cat tries to climb on it. The use of scraping ropes also led to overturning. Even a hammock - the wire is so thin that the bag sags terribly for lack of support. Don't waste your money on this tree! The pictures are misleading, it is useless. The product name is misleading as the word "cat" is emphasized three times, the word "kitten" is mentioned once at the end of the name and there are no pictures of what size the cat would use. Admittedly, I should have noticed that if I had looked closely at what was on offer, but this is clearly misleading advertising as many buyers tend to buy items based on reviews and photos, especially if they are in a hurry. . Reviews that this is a sustainable scratching post are false. I assembled it like the picture, and the moment my kitty tried to enter the hut, everything tipped over. I modified it as in the attached picture to make it more stable but my cat is no longer interested after a bad experience.
