Fiskars offers great quality at a great price. You know you are getting a good product. These scissors are very neat - nothing sticks! I highly recommend them. I can also take a size larger. I have several other types of Fiskars and they last forever.

Most tape dispensers these days don't have a blade sharp enough to cut the tape, so I usually resort to scissors, which stick together fairly quickly. I've used them to cut 3/8" strapping (cheap, cheap stuff that sticks blades really quickly) to secure book covers in our library and the scissors stayed clean and sharp even after using them for 100 books had used.

I love these scissors! I bought these to help with ribbon cutting. They have a special coating so the tape doesn't stick at all. But they are also great for fabric. They make trimming curves very easy and fast. Super sharp with a nice clean cut. They are easy to carry and have on hand. The grips are comfortable but not for very large hands/fingers. I like that they have a bit of texture so you feel confident using them. Be sure to purchase a few more pairs for easy access.

I don't really understand why they have such rave reviews - they're clearly better than the $3 office scissors you can buy at any store, but they're not so exceptional some reviews make it seem. They're pretty well made and well tailored, but there's nothing amazing about them. They are by no means "oh my god hot" or anything. The accuracy is good, but not outstanding. I use Fiskars 8" curved non-stick scissors and Fiskars 5" non-stick scissors to work with tape. Few things stick like sticky tape, but these non-stick scissors from Fiskars cut straight through tape as if it were nothing but paper. Try making a few straight cuts through the tape with regular scissors if you dare. Very little tape sticks to these scissors, even when working on large projects, and you can remove any tape very easily with a quick wipe of a rag or a single wipe of clean tape. Try…
