🔪 Fiskars 12 Inch Rotary Paper Trimmer Cut-bar Replacement, Yellow (196600-1001) Review

My trimmer is about 8 years old and I have used 3 or 4 of these trimmers in my life - they are pretty basic but great. You can use it a few hundred times before you need to twist it (basically 2 twists on each side), so it's handy. This came to me in the form of a white stick. the previous ones were yellow, but this does not affect performance.

For 20-25 years I have been dealing with punching and papermaking. When I needed a new cutting tool, new products from the same companies I've been using for years didn't work the way I wanted. I have gone through 3 paper cutters in 1 year. Against my "common sense" I decided to try this disc cutter. It worked very well! The cut of my 110 pound box is so nice and neat. Works perfectly!

I have a very old Fiskars paper cutter. That does not fit. It is 1mm wider. It is a very hard material and cannot be cut with scissors. It's useless to me. Photos including my trimmer for reference. I'm trying to figure out from the description where this trimmer is 1.88 inches in each dimension (as it says: 1.88 x 0.16 x 15.88 inches). I found it confusing before ordering it but according to Fiskars it was the one that fit my trimmer. It's not like the photo. The one I received is white.
