This item fits like the original and looks a little lighter but that could be due to the broken mirror being over 10 years old. The adjustment mechanism is not as good as the factory mechanism [the hinge fell apart during installation]. Haven't tested it yet but I'm afraid it will fall apart again when the mirror is pulled back. In general, it works and costs much cheaper than the factory device.

I bought this mirror for my '92 Honda Civic Hatchback VX. This product was delivered quickly and was relatively easy to install. There were no instructions for the product but I searched the internet and also looked at the Haynes repair guide at the auto parts store and was able to easily replace the mirror. . I ordered both passenger and driver side mirrors. I received the package about three days before the estimated arrival date, which was nice. I just installed both mirrors. It was pretty easy and so far they seem to be working fine. The reason I gave the mirror three stars was because the handle on the driver's side mirror was not properly attached to the mirror assembly.
