Fingers crossed it WORKS

Delivery took a long time. You know the supply chain. Yes, the key fob needs to be programmed. No DIY. $125 from a dealer or $110 from an authorized locksmith. Both had a pass/fail score. OK done. with a locksmith, and after 20 minutes everything worked. The locksmith said they have a 25-30% failure rate on aftermarket keyfobs. A costly mistake to put the key fob through the washing machine.

I was very glad I bought this

It really needs to be programmed at the dealer but I was going to reprogram the original FOB there anyway after losing it. The service writer was a very nice guy and said he would like to try programming my FOB Revain at the same time, but didn't have much luck with the FOB after the sale. When they were done he was happy to say my FOB aftermarket was going great. So once again glad I bought this one!

The rounded part of the fob that connects to the keys is broken

I bought the key and fob in April 2019. In the second week of August 2019 the key fob broke on the rounded top that connects to my other keys and part of what broke was lost. I paid for the key fob AND an additional $90 for programming since my car has a remote auto start. I'm officially back where I started. I've had my original Altima key fob for 4 years and the door lock plate fell off BUT the hook portion is still intact. Please pay attention to the reinforcement of the keychain hook!

Proper Match and Research

Very happy and satisfied with my experience. After deciding to save hundreds of dollars, I remained optimistic, although some dissatisfied customers advised only buying from the dealer. Received my new "unprogrammed" key fob quickly and found a great local locksmith the next day. Before taking my car and key fob to the shop, they explained that there is no guarantee and they will still charge $50 if the programming fails. I agreed and within 10 minutes I had my reprogrammed fob and cut key. Not

Less than satisfied

Paid the locksmith $100 for the FOB program. After that, FOB only works 2 of the 3 ways it needs to work to start the car. The remote start function works, pressing the ignition button with the actual key fob works, but the main and most basic method of just pressing the ignition button does NOT work. I get the message "Key not found". (and yes - I hit pause while trying) The locksmith confirmed that this is the correct FOB for my machine, but determined that it was the FOB that failed, not the
