Flange Square Included Anchor Bolts Review

This is amazing! Bought for a metal fence to be installed on the pool deck. However, we needed a different type of screw for assembly, which wasn't difficult.

I'm not into cosmetics but this article failed on two counts. It's not a 2 inch square. This is a 1.5 inch square. This will likely work with the industry standard 2"x2" which is roughly equal to 1.5 x 1.5 (same as 2 x 4 is 1.5 x 3.5). But if so, they should have provided an accurate dimensional drawing. Second, the tubular member is welded at an angle of approximately 85º. I mean how hard is it to get it vertical. it's just careless

These are well made, durable flanges for attaching Aspen Fence to concrete. However, the cost was too high due to the poor quality of the concrete anchors supplied with the flange. The anchors are an unusual size (probably metric) and made of inferior material. I tried them on two posts but they just didn't fit well and left my posts loose. I removed them and bought standard 3/8" anchors which I used for the remaining flanges.

The listing picture says you should use a 1/2" drill bit to drill holes for the anchor sleeves, but 1/2" is too loose and you need to pre-install that Grip anchor perforated walls. A 7/16" bit would probably fit better, but I didn't have one. I didn't have time to return it to finish the job, so I had to work 3x harder to get it installed the way I was supposed to. Despite all that After the extra work I'm not happy with the durability as they are a little loose on the stand.Self tapping screws

This is a well made flanged base for surface mounting 2" x 2" or 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" aluminum fence posts. I liked that the post was designed to go through the flange. However. They will not fit a standard 2x2 aluminum bar. As you can see from the attached photos I had to cut the flange and hammer the top.
