FlareAlert LED Beacon Pro Road Flare - White: Powerful & Reliable Safety Device Review

I was skeptical about this unit so bought it to test. The magnet is very strong. My only concern is that it will be scratched when you put it on the car. I'm thinking of a thin felt on the bottom to ease my anxiety but haven't tried it yet. I tested the device in a very dark, safe place in good and bad weather. I could easily see the device up to 200 meters away in solid and blinking modes. I plan to buy more for my car and my wife's car.

I'm using this great bright flashing warning light. I wish they would come back after I've spent a lot of time on the bike. I use it on my wheelchair carrier in the back of my SUV. The "basket" for the trunk protrudes 35 inches from the rear of the car. I set the beacon to flash to warn drivers coming behind that something is sticking out of the car. Works perfectly! Another good product. First I bought a set of Red 3 turn signals that this company makes and they come in a case. I was so pleased I decided to buy one of the clear/white, amber/yellow and green ones plus an extra case. They also offer one in blue which I didn't buy. I'm afraid the cops won't like it. They run on AA batteries. Very durable construction. Magnetic, sticks/sticks to your car. I highly recommend this and other products from this company. I am very happy.

I first bought a set of three Red Flare Alerts which come in a case. I was so impressed that I ordered the Amber Beacon, Clear Beacon and Green Beacon along with another case. Great products. The only thing I didn't get was the Blue Beacon. I figured a cop or some overzealous type of law enforcement might complain and claim I was trying to pose as the police. I bought this item in red and clear. I don't understand why the transparent one was double the price. Both make a great bike light though, transparent is much brighter because it's transparent. I put the red one on the back of the bike and the clear one on the front. The magnet is strong but not strong enough to attach to a bike. Just got the velcro and it holds up great.
