Easy to install. Simply screw the wooden seat with two screws. Everything else is assembled. They make a slight tinny sound when you hold/pull/move them, but they're rock solid and look great.

Very comfortable and durable, they fit well in my new kitchen. When I opened the box there was a hole in the back of one of the chair seats, I emailed the company and they replaced it immediately. Very good customer service.

Why ship without screws?! It makes no sense. Chairs are good but useless until safe. Not only do the chairs have no screws, but there is no hole at the bottom of the chair. So you're essentially drilling a hole in the seat and hoping you get it right the first time. Save your money and spend it with a company that really cares about customer satisfaction.

Now that all is said and done I really like the chairs but the first set of 2 I bought were the walking sticks without the screws. I also ordered and paid for a mahogany seat and they sent me a cheaper vinyl upholstered seat even though I paid the price for a mahogany seat. The holes are not pre-drilled and the second set of 2 I bought had screws that were too short. All this to say that I ordered this product twice because I love the style of these chairs and they seem really solid.

One star was removed as the seat cushions arrived cut and padded inside. I have emailed the seller for a replacement and will update the review based on response. The seat itself seems to be well made. The seat is very durable because it has a soft surface. A minor annoyance is that the plastic pegs on the bottom of the chairs are white. Why make a good chair out of black metal and then use white caps as the base? Seems an odd choice. Makes me think maybe it was a cost saving measure.

Amazing! I bought this after buying four bar stools from the same manufacturer. They are almost indestructible. I'm 6ft 7in and 300lbs and I couldn't break this chair if I tried. For the price these chairs are of excellent quality. Are they the chicest, trendiest style? no But they are elegant, timeless and go with almost everything. I bought 4 of these for an off campus home that has 4 college boys, one of which is mine. The heaviest child weighs 250 pounds.
