I have the exact same brand and style of hat - love it. It's about five years old. I decided to buy a second one expecting to get the exact same hat. Not correct. This new one was a lot more plastic, and unlike my other one, which had a nice, smooth, round dome of fabric, this hat had this rig-like design that made that pinpoint protrusion at the top. I gave it of good will.

I've had pretty much every version of the Flexfit cap that's been offered over the years and this one has held up better than most. It's a bit thicker than the cloth versions, but not as bad. It sits perfectly on the head but the hat is a little lower than I would like and more than other versions. My first impression of the cap is very good. That's a nice hat. The wearing comfort was very pleasant due to the flexible fit and did not leave any marks on the head when wearing the hat. I wore it to play 18 holes of golf and was sweating profusely and still haven't noticed any sweat on the hat. So I'm not giving 3 stars just because it's a bad helmet, I'll explain why here. It was quite comfortable and sat very comfortably around my head.
