Could be a little sturdier but it's not bad

I wish the arm could tighten up a bit more and swing out a little further but all in all it works pretty well for my camera and what I need it for. It's such an improvement from what I had that I don't even notice that it doesn't do exactly what I wish it could I'm very happy with it

Pros
  • Does exactly what I want it to do. I'm using it to hold my projector for D&D dynamic maps on a table.
Cons
  • It is very rare to find an item that breaks at its first use but alas, I found one.

I'm using this for a webcam / ring light; works great

This is a low profile monopod with a desk clamp, and includes a good ball joint. The result is I can mount a fairly heavy camera/light combo without concern, and without a chunky look. The height that can be achieved is great. I may wind up elevating the light using this stand and use a 2nd stand for the camera, and the 4' reach will be essential.Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Wide Range of Use
Cons
  • Requires frequent readjustment

Unstable at full extension and kind of pricey

I have this clamped down as much as possible and it's still a bit too unstable at full height for comfort, so I have it a bit shorter than I'd otherwise like it to. I have a big ringlight and webcam on top.It comes with an attachment for you phone, which I don't plan on using but I can see why people would be interested in that. But $35 for a flimsy pole isn't justifiable for me. If it was rock solid I'd give it a 4, and if it had another mounting option I'd give it a 5.

Cons
  • Can be unstable and wobbly

One of the most durable designs

Out of all of the variety of streamer/content creator accessory poles i've used, the telescopic design of the Vijim def holds up better then others and there is no slack to deal with when adjusting: just lock in the height and be done. No worrying about your device/light sagging or settling once you let go of the pole. Other positives for this baby are the well machined sturdy accesories, and the lo-pro look of the rig, very profesh’ vibe/aesthetic. A godsend on up-desks so you can raise the…

Pros
  • Easy mounting: The 1/4" interface mount ensures easy and secure mounting of the camera, making it suitable for use with a wide range of cameras and other photographic equipment
Cons
  • May not work with certain camera models

Misleading pictures does not come with any stand or C clamp

BEWARE! This product is very deceiving it does not come with any way to mount it. You do not get the C clamp that is shown in most the pictures.

Pros
  • It's good for me to use, but a little expensive.
Cons
  • Guess I should have paid better attention. Arm is great but doesn't have table clamp. Warning!

Purchased to mount an 8lb light therapy box

I needed a low profile desk mount to hold an 8lb light therapy box (Northern Light Technologies Boxelite) on my wife's desk. I wanted the light to come from slightly above her head at a slight tilt. This stand is serving this need and is steadier than the miniature tripod I had been using for the interim. The construction is sturdy and almost all metal. The only plastic part of the clamp is the disk on the end of the bolt and seems adequate for the task. The clamp is also low profile enough to…
