I have mixed feelings about this product. These are functional, very versatile and cool patterns. Remote instructions have been translated into English. I don't think they are really suitable for daytime running lights. The same applies to signal lights, they are not bright enough during the day. If you disconnect the signal cable from the signal, the original signal light supply will be cut off. Edit 1 year later: the lights still work great except for one small issue. From time to time they switch from a solid color which I leave them on to one of the animated sequences apparently on their own or at least for some reason unknown to me which is really annoying because I won't know and I just become like that driving, so I'm trying to figure it out. Less than $20 I am very impressed. The tape isn't great, but for some reason these cheaper LED strips are exactly that, their adhesion just sucks. Grab a 3 meter tape and the problem is solved. Make sure you clean the area you apply to. This means using 91% isopropyl alcohol it scrapes every area of the wax for better adhesion, it's either cheap duct tape or 3m.
