FLEXIMOUNTS Overhead Adjustable Ceiling Storage Review

I bought and installed three of these shelves. There are no instructions for installing shelving with different roof beam configurations, but once you figure out the correct orientation of the included brackets and beams, installation is easy. I even doubled one of the sets - instead of 8ft - 4 panels wide, I installed it 4ft wide and two shelves high.

It is very durable when installed correctly. The instructions are not well written, so you need to plan and measure carefully in advance. In my case I had to install the 2x4 rebar in the opposite direction as the ceiling joists were in the same direction as the ceiling hangers which would not fit standard 16 inch joists. A larger 4x8' would have been better in terms of installation. if i had a place in my garage.

In general, I am very satisfied with the stand. I ordered a 36 inch model but for some reason they sent me a 48 inch model instead. My advantage I suppose? The install went pretty well but allow 2-3 hours for the install on Saturday. Ceiling mounts took up most of the time of the whole process. But once they were attached to the ceiling joists, the rest took about 45 minutes. I installed it myself and if I had a buddy to help (highly recommend) the install would have been faster for sure.
