Works well, easy to set direction but difficult to clean. I took it apart to clean the impeller and put it back together with difficulty. The plastic looks very thin, I thought I would break it.

Good Wave Maker. It's oddly connected to the base. It's 1100 in a 50 gallon tank and it works well. I would not recommend using less than 50 gallons in a tank. But quiet and powerful. Costs money. However, the properties on the photos do not correspond to reality. It's not 24 inches by 26 inches. More like 3-1/2 x 3

I just needed a pump for my hydroponic system to keep the water moving. So far it seems to be doing its job. I hear a hum, but it's not annoyingly loud. The trickle of water being pumped through the system is louder than it. The magnet is very strong (held by a magnet on the outside of the water tank). Like it's strong enough to hold the pump through part of my arm. As long as it doesn't give me away, I'd say it was perfect for what I needed.

Considering how inexpensive this thing is I was blown away by its performance. Works great for movement and flow, just no frills. It's plug and play, very simple and solid construction. There is a small plastic wheel that I believe is used to adjust the flow but I can't change it so I had to use it in my large reef and not the small nano I bought it for. It would be overkill for that or under about 30 gallons depending on what you store in it. but you definitely can't go wrong for moola.

These are great if you just want the best possible flow for the money. 100 GPH for the buck is about the best you can go and it has a magnetic mount instead of a suction cup - much better and just the icing on the cake.
