I was not aware that these replacement filters were not from the original manufacturer. For this price you can buy the original Winix filter. The box is completely duplicated except for the manufacturer's name.

One star down due to the short 1/16 inch HEPA filter compared to the original Winix brand, which was able to bypass the filter through the gap. Activated carbon filters do not suffer from this problem. Otherwise, the materials are on par with Winix.

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit hesitant as some mentioned that the size was not a perfect fit. Since the price is almost half that of the Winx, I tried it and found that it now fits the Winx C545 perfectly. Now I can buy more as I only have 3 units in the house.

I bought 4 different replacement filters for Winix C545 for about $130. It was the best quality, just below OEM replacement parts. A good amount of charcoal in the substitutes and a durable, well-made hepa filter. Best Hit for the Dollar!

Whilst this item will fit and may work as a Heppa style filter it will not be recognized by the machine as a factory replacement. The wireless function cannot be used. These machines are custom made for Costco or other vendors as far as I can tell and research. While it is difficult to find replacement filters, this particular filter is not recognized as a factory approved replacement.
