Would be good if not too small. The three inch measurement refers to the diameter of the flange, not the opening in the vase. Of course, if you want the vase to fit in a 3 inch cylinder, the vase needs to be 4 inches.

Well made, spikes fit well. The foam inside is very stiff and causes problems for some stems, but it stays in place well. It's VERY DIFFICULT to remove the label, I even had to wrap it with tape to hide the residue for 2.

Easy to assemble and use. However, the plastic wasn't strong enough to last a season mowing grass in the cemetery where I used them. I was very disappointed as it claims to be sturdy. Even with a foam insert, the vase retains water.
