Our bitch had puppies so we planned to use them to identify different puppies in the litter. One fell apart the first night. I wonder if the stuff is too cheap.

They are suitable for identification but cannot chew and are not suitable for small puppies as you have to cut off the excess because it sticks out and then you lose the ability to stretch it, if they grow, so "no", I wouldn't recommend them.

Works well with sticky material, doesn't stick as well as some other tapes! My puppies are always on the move so they always fall and when they come home the new owner seems to find them a new collar. So I think it's good for what's being done there!

Ideal in theory, but the quality is very cheap. They began to crack and the layers separated within hours of being placed on the puppies. Look at the photos where the layers are peeling off leaving a sticky residue and not that soft for people's comfort.

The Velcro closure makes them easy to adjust as they grow and are suitable for both small and large kittens or puppies. These are the worst collars for puppies! They only have 1 inch of velcro and the rest of the collar is just padded. They don't last long and fall off within a day or two. What is pictured is not what you will get! The photo shows a collar with soft Velcro on the outside and coarser Velcro on the inside. Don't be fooled by buying them. The color faded very quickly and the pups were difficult to tell apart. I tried washing them on a mild cold cycle and the velcro came undone and two saggy useless

I've had the same bad experiences with collars as other reviewers. They dropped from puppies, even newborns and not very active ones. Too much extra to cut off. And IF the collar came into contact with water? Forget that Velcro is no longer durable. The two pieces of material that make up the collar have separated. Velcro was the ONLY piece holding it together. Which of course rendered these collars useless. In less than 24 hours of use, all the collars were in the trash. Much less of an issue,

So I would like to warn all breeders looking for collars not to even think about it! I saw some pictures and previously bought another type that worked great. They weren't the same! My puppies are only a week old today and have been carrying them for 6 days. They don't stay which is frustrating with a large litter, the colors are only bright for a day or two and then fade so you can't tell which is yellow and which is green, gold or brown.
