TOO narrow for a 5E foot :(

I'm looking to replace my husband's size 12 5E Bostonian Prescott Burgundy Slip On Loafers. Apparently no longer available :( widest size for this"Florsheim Milano" shoes look exactly like the Bostons We weren't sure what XXW meant so we ordered it The box said it was a 3E It was TOO narrow for a 5E foot .

Custom sizes?

I don't usually have to order wide shoes. I have always worn normal width 9.5D shoes. I ordered these shoes in a regular width (9.5D) and could barely fit in. I sent them back and ordered a size 10D. I was able to put my foot in but felt tight on the sides. I thought they would loosen up, but after a week I gave away uncomfortable socks (I couldn't exchange it for a used one). I ordered a wider version of this shoe. Let's hope the fit is right because these shoes are really very comfortable ifโ€ฆ

Precisely! in shoes

I never order shoes. For me, this is something you have to try on before you buy. However, due to the pandemic, I was forced to try mail order. The shoes are exactly as advertised. They fit very well and are very comfortable. You look great. I will probably buy them again!

Good shoes - bad fit!

What is 11.0D? It seems that there is a manufacturer standard for shoe and pant size, but it is nowhere good enough for the buyer-user. Shoe size becomes like pant size ---- I wear waist 35 (choose 34 or 36 and neither of them fit me) ---- pant length 31 (choose size 30 or 32) neither of them fit right - size 30 shows your socks, size 32 is almost below the heel of the shoe SHOES - Example - Loafer Florsheim Milano 11 D - left shoe is too tight and I can hardly walk without pain - right shoe is

Shoe tightening method

The quality of the shoes was excellent. My foot was 9.5 wide. The shoes were marked 9 ยฝ by her. Had to take off the socks, tighten the shoehorn too tight, shoes must have been mislabeled? I only gave 5 stars for the quality. Zero doesn't even come close to matching.

Florsheim shoes are very comfortable and fit as they should.

I have other Florsheim shoes and thought they were small. They, like the others, are very comfortable, look and feel great. I thought my other shoes fit well so I only went back because I already had the shoes.
