What is 11.0D? It seems that there is a manufacturer standard for shoe and pant size, but it is nowhere good enough for the buyer-user. Shoe size becomes like pant size ---- I wear waist 35 (choose 34 or 36 and neither of them fit me) ---- pant length 31 (choose size 30 or 32) neither of them fit right - size 30 shows your socks, size 32 is almost below the heel of the shoe SHOES - Example - Loafer Florsheim Milano 11 D - left shoe is too tight and I can hardly walk without pain - right shoe is fine! The shoe is the same size as my Boston slippers but not even remotely the same fit! , I would have initially ordered Boston shoes, but Boston shoe size (11.0.D) was not available!. The Florsheimer shoes (Milan slippers) turned out to be beautiful shoes and were available in my shoe size. .Wrong!, as noted, the size is not the same (see comments above).
