Very Good Scissors: Cutting Tools

These are really great flower scissors, my only complaint is they sent the wrong color. I am a purple girl and was happy to see they came in purple but was surprised and disappointed when they sent me lemon green. At least the color doesn't affect the product so the greens work just as well as the purples I'm sure lol.

Pros
  • Crafts
Cons
  • No Mold Required

Strong and sharp!: Kraft

Great! At first I thought the handles are so big that they are uncomfortable. Then I realized I could wear them with gardening gloves and still be handy, so I think this feature will come in handy for me. It cut easily through the thick chunks of the woody parts of the vine, and my hand never tired. I first bought them for arranging flowers, but they have proven themselves several times in the garden. The fact that they are cute is just a bonus.

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • No instructions

Sturdy but extra large for little hands

I've been using these for over a week now and they're not exactly what I wanted. I wanted a pair of blunt scissors that I could carry in my bag in my large garden. They looked perfect but are actually too big for my hands to open the blades more than halfway and too big to fully fit in any of my pockets (i.e. jeans, back or side pocket, shorts, etc. ) d.). They are chewy, spicy, sweet and strong. They can cut surprisingly thick branches. They just don't meet my needs.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • There are new competitors

They are a lot harder than you might think!

Updated review after a few months of use: This summer I used these scissors in place of my larger hand pruning tool. Turns out they're easier to transport and can cut much thicker stems than you might think! You can even cut mature sorrel (sorrel) stalks, which are difficult weeds to cut. Large covered handles allow me to use both hands even when holding scissors. Now I'll leave the big branch tool in the box and just grab these scissors and a bucket. Bright red handles help me find my tool…

Pros
  • Needlework goods
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
