🚘 Flowmaster 524554 Dual 2.25-Inch In/Out 50 Series Muffler for SUV/Performance Vehicles Review

Matching truck great delivery was ok. When installed in a muffler shop it sounds good, not too loud. satisfied recommend yes. Been on my 1996 Z71 Silverado for a few months with no problems. good quality. You can't hear it on the freeway either.

I bought the 50 series for my 97 k1500 Straight Fit Two Flowmaster Cat and made a special dual exhaust on the rear because I wanted it to be quieter and it's really, great tone , but in any case quite quiet, probably get away with a 40.

I put it on my 2014 Tundra. After lots of YouTube research and questions, this was exactly what I wanted. I used to have a different exhaust with a bad drone. It is better. The sound reminds me of all the Mustangs of the 90's. It hums when starting and idling. But it's not too loud when you step on the gas. Perfect. If I wanted the same sound but louder, I would go for a Super 40. But I tow my bass boat a lot and that would be too loud.

This Flowmaster muffler really gets my truck to a nice, normal hum. I had a Flowmaster 40 series that was very loud. I didn't mind, but my neighbors must have wanted to kill my truck. Now that I have the 50 series it has a nice rumble, but the noise level is too high. It's about twice the weight and 6 inches longer than my 40 series muffler. Would buy again as long as I don't feel like yelling in the cab or trying to fix the truck on the phone.
