Good Budget Speakers

Great product at an affordable price. I have Fluance reference bipoles for the side bezel and bookshelves for the back.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Alright

They look great and sound great

They have sound quality that's worth approx. They look premium. The sound is balanced, not harsh and not boomy. Works great as a bookshelf speaker in a small room. If you need more bass, add a subwoofer.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Hard to say

Very good sound but needs a subwoofer or other speakers to provide bass

related to the Fluance player and still in between the sound is great at lower volumes but needs more at some Bass albums I ran them with a second group of pioneers who always sounded dull. Now I have clear highs and mids with bass from the pioneer. After a long research I am very satisfied with the purchase

Pros
  • Holding my fists
Cons
  • A bit wrinkled

Ratings for these speakers are based on 2-channel, not surround sound.

These bookshelf speakers lack bass so I wouldn't recommend them for a 2 channel system. I've been able to use them with a subwoofer, which is better suited to a 2-channel system and delivers significantly improved bass, as well as better soundstage and depth. I'd say if you have a small room and an amp with tone controls you can adjust the bass and get good results, but in medium to large rooms I don't think these speakers will cut it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Other Other

Great speakers for the price. ugly logo?

Cool, the sound is great and I haven't had a single problem with these new villains. More than I expected, but that's not a problem with the current setup. I live in a tiny studio and my setup is pretty modest, but I can't say these speakers would be able to stretch their legs if I had the space. Definitely a hit for the money spent. My only concern is that I would like Fluance not to put their logo/name on everything, your logo/name is ugly and kills what could be a great minimalist. Watch…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Too stupid
