I bought this turntable because I have a Fluance turntable. I noticed a difference with better sound. I also like the matte finish.

Estimated Quality Control Issue. The first did not match the RT85, nor did a few others with the same experience. BUT, a quick return and a second one within a few days is perfect. So, a little disappointment, but everything was resolved. Fluance makes really cool products.

Let me tell you that I play a lot of vinyl and it was a decent weight as far as I could use it in my setup. But after switching to the RT-83 I decided to try this weight and after a couple of weeks the plastic started peeling off the bottom. Anyway it was too expensive. Good

The weight of this record is good and you should have it if you have the RT82-85, it really smoothes out the warping of the album. Repeat and play, there was also a slight improvement in sound, I recommend it to anyone who has an RT82-RT85.

Let me start by saying this is a very good weight and I am very happy with it and it fits my turntable. The quality of everything Fluance makes is excellent, but you could probably find another brand of the same quality for half the price. And as long as you enter, know that you will be very happy. It's also important to note that it has a low profile so you can close the dust cover while it's on your turntable.
