It should be 5 stars BUT.

Installed many times No problems and no leaks BUT. This came with a crushed box and the rubber seal had a nasty dent, well I didn't expect it to still work. Guess it's leaking so I'll have to take it apart and replace it! Thumbs down on the package. I'm not sure if it was the company or Revain, but it's rubbish.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Long delivery

Not suitable. Check screw size!

I have a standard American toilet that is 13 years old. The bolts were too big. My toilet required 1/4 inch. red pad. The gasket was too thick, causing the tank to rock back and forth. So we went back to the hardware store. This kit was absolutely useless and a waste of money for us.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say

Just what we needed

The kit included everything you need to repair your semi-bathroom! I had to learn how to assemble it before actually making it, but as a woman I'd say it's better to practice and do it once! My husband was impressed with my plumbing skills! This set had everything I needed and was very affordable. A must have for anyone doing home renovations!

  • Impressive

Know Your Terlet!: Toilet Parts

This kit was very easy to use but it included 4 gaskets and only 4 washers and I needed 6 washers. I was able to reuse 2 of the old ones. I probably saved $300 or more by making it myself. Newbie and quite old, took me about an hour and a half. It will probably take 20 minutes by a professional (or someone with a new toilet model). Also, every time you renovate a new apartment, especially a toilet, you learn something new and it goes a long way.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Just what I needed for toilet parts

My plumber told me he thought the cistern in my upstairs toilet was cracked from water leaking out the back when flushing. I thought it was the gasket between the flush tank and the toilet and bought this kit as it had everything I needed to replace the gasket. It did!. It even had parts that were needed but not originally installed (steel washers). Although I had trouble removing the original nuts from the bolts, everything else went fine with no leaks. (two hours)

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Damaged

Everything I needed

Water leaked from the back of the toilet after each flush. I knew it had to be the tank to bowl gasket or bolts as they were the original bolts that came with the toilet. Pretty easy and understandable work, took about 40 minutes. All new parts fit perfectly on my toilet and no longer leak. The old gasket was completely worn out and the old screws were quite rusted. Don't let the plumber fool you they will lie to you and tell you you need a new toilet, if all you need is this cheap kit and some

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great repair kit! Brass bolts and double nuts.

Really good repair kit. The brass screws are important and the main reason I got the kit. Nuts and washers are bright zinc, which is perfectly normal for this application as they won't come in contact with water (unless you install them correctly). With this kit you can first attach the bolts to the tank (remember to use thin nuts for this), then attach the tank to the bowl with rubber and then metal washers for a very secure fit. I've used Korky repair parts mainly because I've tried them and…

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Useless features
