The best temperature gauge for HVAC!

This was the most accurate temperature gauge I have used in my 15 years in the HVAC industry. I have one and two of my installers/techies and I have a hard time trusting anything but them. This price is hard to beat and delivery was very quick.

Pros
  • Digital Thermometers
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

Identical to Rubber Boot

Fluke fits easily in one hand making it easy to use in our shop. The rubber casing is a big plus as the device is moved frequently and can be bumped and scratched. The digital screen is easy to read and the time reading is quick. I will be buying more devices soon as this model is well suited for a production environment.

Pros
  • Check, Measure and Inspect
Cons
  • Some Problems

Great thermometer for the weld shop

Bought a few months ago to monitor the interpass temperature at our aluminum weld shop. It is easy to use and provides fast and accurate readings. On the outside, it's pretty solid and will likely survive an accidental drop of several feet. Ideal for the welding shop. We also bought an 80PK-3A probe but looking back we probably didn't need it and it was expensive. The sensor that comes with the device is as basic as it gets, but works well.

Pros
  • Thermometer
Cons
  • Little things

Great product for digital thermometers

I've been looking for a decent dual input thermocouple for a long time and here it is. I bought 5 different ones in just over a week and returned all but this one. I thought if I spent $200 I would get the best. The Fluke 52-2 works perfectly. The temps update quickly and the thing is very solid. I dropped it once or twice and it didn't even leave a mark. I even knocked over a thermos of liquid nitrogen and it didn't bother him at all. If you're looking for the best, Fluke has you covered.

Pros
  • Test, measure and test
Cons
  • Not sure
