Ratio of granules to insects/worms does not match the picture

This product does not match the picture. Just like the similar freeze dried fruit and veg mix, it's packed with way more granules and way fewer worms and locusts than the pictures show. The ratio is completely wrong with a serving size of 28 granules.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • not sure

Killed our bearded dragon. Died of malnutrition.

This is not a complete food for bearded dragons. Also, the bearded agama hated red balls. Red was always eaten last. Stick to live food and skip this product. I have had a bearded dragon on a live cricket diet for ten years. This food killed our new dragon in 3 months.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Zero

Our bearded kid loves it

We really didn't expect our bearded kid to like freeze-dried foods (rather than live ones), but he does like mealworms and granules. Because he is so small, we soak the pellets for a few minutes before feeding him, so he can eat easier and also get water. He's digging through a bowl of pellets and his nails look like we painted them red.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Appearance

Not the best idea to feed dragons this!

I would never feed this product to reptiles as I am rescuing poor animals that are fed packaged and dry food but I feed this product to my isopods (cleaner bugs) and they seem doing it like it i found out about it because people gave it to me when they gave away their bearded dragons don't want to spend don't want to!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Communication with seller

My chickens love this!

5 stars. My tiny house chickens (Serama breed) love mealworms and crickets so I decided to try this formula. Turns out they're crazy about red pellets and pick them first, not mealworms or crickets! Hoping to find a jar with only pellets as they are crazy about it. I give them about 2 tbsp. Each evening, when they return to their chicken coop after a run around in their diapers, they immediately head for the red dots and gobble them up. :)

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Bearded Dragon Tips and Review!

I was afraid my bearded dragons wouldn't like the food as it wasn't 'fresh' but I was wrong they loved it! She had no trouble chewing food. What I do is mix it with her veggies and add a few drops of water to keep her hydrated since she doesn't actually drink the bowl of water she has in her cage. I recommend adding calcium to their products, it's always great! I will buy more when I run out. Also, it's a lot cheaper than the pet store where I bought it for about $6 and it was $13 at the pet…

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • I will add later

Dragons are sick. - Reptiles and amphibians

This is a separate review. My dragons didn't like it very much. They ate the red orbs, but my older dragon had more red orbs than mine. My eldest vomited up almost all of the food she ate and hasn't moved much in the last few days since she ate it. I'm getting really worried about her. I don't know if it's because my house gets cold at night or if it's because of the food. In any case, she's not usually very active, but this is definitely different. My goodness the dragon looks like she's not…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
