Great active ingredients and they work as advertised. The nylon bags are airtight and have nice thin holes to keep things inside, which is an improvement over the zippered filter bags I've used before. I rinsed one before putting it in the filter stack and didn't notice any charcoal dust in the wash water, which is a huge improvement over the dusty charcoal I bought in a big plastic bottle.

Carbon is always handy if you have aquariums and the low price allowed me to stock up and have lots of extras. I added mine to my Fluval 13.5 EVO, I have an In-Tank Chamber 1 Add-On and it's stuck to the bottom, but my water has never been clearer. It also fits my Fluval C-4 HOB filter and is almost exactly the same replacement. Also washed super clean, I run the charcoal in the reactor and this stuff is a mess to flush, there was almost no mess in the Fluval packs.

I found this very confusing as the product comes in 3 packs but you must order by quantity, at least 3. This means you will receive 9 separate packs. three separate boxes. I ended up paying 3 times more and getting 3 times more than I needed. Ordering confusion aside, carbon works quite well. There is nothing special about it other than the packaging. The bags fit well in the filters, are neatly packaged and are a good size. They work well and do their job.

I bought these for our Fluval 406 filter and they are convenient, easy to use and do not clog. It might be possible to save a few cents by buying in bulk and filling bags, but I only buy pre-packed 100g bags for convenience and time-saving. Fluval manufactures superior aquarium media. I love this and their ZeroCarb.
