Fits and works as it should; easy installation. Make sure it doesn't arrive with a broken fin! Simple product, works perfectly. Why so many words, it's stupid Revane!

I thought I had to replace my $100 12 year old Fluval 206 until I read somewhere to inspect and replace the impeller ($17). It only took a few minutes to remove the old one, clean the impeller hole with a cotton swab and install the new impeller.

My 205 filter got noisy and seemed to stop the water at times. I replaced it and the impeller shaft (they should be offered in the kit) to bring the filter back to perfect and silent operation. Remember to replace both the shaft and the impeller. Mine showed wear after constant use over the last 10 years.

No fish was lost thanks to the prompt arrival of this filter impeller! losing the fish until I gave up and ordered the part online, overall a quicker process! Many Thanks.

My Fluval canister filter is probably almost ten years old so I thought its intermittent stalling problems were just a sign of its age and that it was related Substitute. However, we decided it would be a good idea to just try swapping out the impeller to see if that would help and lo and behold it worked! The filter is like new. (PS: You will need a ceramic shaft assembly to do this).
