🔝 Enhance Filtration Efficiency with Fluval FX5 High Performance Canister Filter Output Nozzle Review

According to others I bought this bait to replace the bait that came with my FX4 for my 75g aquarium. The flow on the FX4 is too strong, causing me to turn on the faucet a bit. It fits perfectly and the water flow is perfect without having to close the valve.

Worked great. Fits directly onto the FX 5. Wider openings slow flow and stabilize turbulent tank without restricting filter flow. Fish like it very much. The current is enough for the bearded danios to roll down the hill, but not so strong that the gourami is blown away. Worked great.

Looks a bit big for a 20 liter tank, but brakes and distributes water well. Now I can keep the canister flow high with maximum filtration. Plug it into the soft rubber connector on the Fluval 406 canister filter. Too bad they didn't make one specifically for the 406 which was a bit smaller.

I have a 90 gallon aquarium with angelfish filtered by the Fluval FX4. The outlet nozzles included with the FX4 create a strong flow and keep it to one side of the tank most of the time. Since I switched, they've been everywhere. 👍🏼 The only downside I see is that some fish waste and uneaten food does not get into the filter inlet. In other words, more gravel cleaning. 😒
