Just the right part, perfect fit, installed in seconds. Good price! (I melted the original while trying to get rid of seaweed with hot water, a silly move on my part.)

As others have pointed out the filter is actually clear and not black as shown in the picture. It sticks in my aquarium like a sore thumb. My old black filter, which I somehow lost, was much more subtle.

I connected it to the air intake and it never stays on. When the filter is started, the lower part falls into the tank, after which the ball floats away! After disconnecting and reconnecting the filter 3 times it fell off each time so I had to reuse my old part. Disappointed and also not sure if it matters but the piece is clean not smoky like the other pieces.

The problem with this product is that it breaks quite easily when cleaning if you try to take it apart. I have replaced this part too many times but this time they sent me a black part. Although that's what I need, which is an eyesore. However, I'm grateful that Revain is selling this because working with Hagen can take a lot of time and effort.
