FME Desktop is great for transformation of data

The capability that you can do real-time transformations between formats like shapefiles or CSV files without any programming knowledge was very helpful in our project because we were working remotely so it saved us lota time which helped by reduce cost as well! Nothing much I found positive about this tool but yes there are some things i felt difficult while using them especially if your not familiarized properly then sometime these tools may make u feel frustrated!! But overall its good…

Easy to learn and powerful tool for spatial data analysis

The ease in which you can build up your model from scratch or modify existing models using either Python scripts/API etc., as well having great graphical user interface (GUI). I have been able use this product without any prior understanding about it but once familiarized i found that my job became easier than other products like QGIS where there are some very complex operations involved just by clicking few buttons! It's not free so be prepared if needed large volume datasets need processing…
