FODUE Industrial Bathroom 2 Layer Shelving Review

Bought for the Lake House Bar to create a softer steampunk vibe. We made cane furniture as much as we could in this fun space, and tying it together helped. Installation was easy, but in this case it was probably even more difficult since we could install it anywhere on a 1" pine wall. Shelves are crappy shabby foil veneer, you'd assume it would eventually peel but would be fine for casual use.

Assembly instructions are almost useless. Each separate part of these shelves is a separate part. Adding to the confusion is that it comes partially assembled, which requires disassembly and reassembly. It's actually not that hard after figuring it out and putting it together through trial and error, but in the end I found the right combination. I like the old fashioned/rustic look, it's quite heavy and sturdy. Overall I'm happy, but looks can be deceiving. Get ready for a tedious assembly.

This product was very well packaged to avoid damage, everything was wrapped in bubble wrap. These shelves are very durable, highly recommended. We couldn't find a bolt and wanted it to be very secure so my husband installed a small L bracket with a snap screw on top just for extra security, he had to drill through the top shelf but it worked really well. This was my original review: Great product. Heavy duty, long lasting when assembled with associated parts (not included). My low star rating is the result of poor instruction and wrong equipment. The wall screws have too small a head to hold the part. Plastic screws also break as soon as you start screwing them into the wall. I bought two of these shelves for my home gym. Once mounted they are very stable and look great. Unfortunately one of the shelves was damaged. Rather than fumbling around with the return, I found the solution by re-gluing the broken piece of wood. Then mount that particular shelf on the wall where it will go unnoticed.
