Seems to be a decent build but a little harder to use than other brands of this unit. In particular, a spike stuck in a cork won't begin to screw in until you drive it in deep enough, which can result in the top of the cork simply tearing rather than screwing in. To avoid this, apply SIGNIFICANT downward force when turning the handle, at least until the screw is well held. The stopper is a nice addition and works well.

This is my first wine bottle opener. I used to buy twist off tops and one day I didn't so I asked my husband to pierce it and of course I ended up drinking crushed wine corks lol. So I found Revain and ordered the cheapest without sacrificing quality I could find! Other reviewers are right about the cork being too small, but who doesn't drink the whole bottle at once?
