Works best diluted. Love it!

Long lasting when diluted with water. Initially I used it undiluted but due to the thickness it was difficult to apply and small cracks were difficult to fill without losing much. So I used a 1 to 1 ratio of dye to water and it made a huge difference. Now it was very quick and easy to apply and quickly filled any gaps. I painted a gigantic Jenga set using 54 10.5" 2x4 paints and barely used half a bottle. My wife was delighted with her purple gift! I also painted another set of Jenga Green for…

Not as vigorous as I was hoping

I'd like to start this off by saying that I think I'm partly to blame for what went wrong. However, this yellow is not as bright as some photos suggest. I was working with redwood, that might be part of the problem. I ended up buying a yellow pigmented acrylic paint and it got me where I needed to be. I will say that it is not as easy to use as this product. Applies evenly and dries quickly. If I had used a lighter wood I think it would have worked much better. But when I see how I found a…

one of the best wood stains I've ever used

I don't know how I came up with this spot, but with a color like Lady Marmalade, how can you not buy it? I use both Zar stain and normal varnishes. Zar colors are thicker and general finishes tend to be thinner. Both work well, but the stain is more like a Zar finish in comparison. If you're familiar with Zar stains and want something lighter than dark wood, then this stain is a great option. You can work with it in the same way as with Zar dye.
