Good quality parking brake cable

I bought a 50ft reel to replace the parking brake hoses on a 2003 Mini Cooper. The line came in a spool that was easy to straighten and bend into its final shape very easily, and the Bubble Flare tool I used worked great with it.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Contact seller

Might be good for minor repairs.

I hope I got a bad batch but this material is of poor quality. Using a top quality crimping tool, this material would shrink by itself and could not produce a proper effect. Ordered another roll from another supplier and it worked great.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not the best

Excellent flex, durability unknown.

Easy to bend, difficult to flare and not sure about durability as they have not been fitted to a car (1984 BMW E30 325e). The size corresponds to the specification, it is pleasant to work with it manually. With this tube, don't waste your money and time on a tube bender!

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Only available in white

Very happy with this purchase!

I used this to replace a rusted steel line on my 2006 Ford Expedition and it worked great! All the local shops were charging $50 for 25 feet of the same line so it was a great deal and the line is very flexible and easy to use. From now on I will never use anything but copper again. Also shipped quickly

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Hard to say

A dream at work, over the years I got used to a steel brake line, then after reading reviews on this thing I had to try it, the smallest curl is easily bent, no tools required, do it it all by hand. Double flares and ISO bubble connections are effortless to get right, wish I had heard about them years ago.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Appearance

Great thing Mercedes Benz didn't notice

Volvo pioneered copper-nickel brake lines in the 70's. Never had rotted brake lines on any of my dozens of Volvos in the past. Brake lines were rusting on my '05, '06 Sprinter and now on my '07 Sprinter too. Terrible work on the Sprinter because of the hoses going through the fuel tank. I replaced the brittle steel with cupronickel for permanent repairs. .

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No automatic transmission

Excellent goods. - Spare parts

This is the simplest and most flexible leash I have ever used. I usually try to use the old lines to pre-bend the new lines, after struggling with the looseness of the 30 year old bindings this has become impossible. I tried but failed miserably. This material bent with frightening ease. I was sure I would break it any second. No problem. Flared up beautifully. NO LEAK. PERFECT. No pipe bending tools, just my fat fingers.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine
